1. (July 2006) - Powering Vietnam's growth through developing SME's capability
  Hanoi, July 12 - BP Vietnam, in partnership with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), will offer a professional training program aimed at developing the capability of the SME (small and medium-sized enterprises) sector in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
2. (March 2006) - Signing of Shared Strategic Plan to Power Vietnam’s growth with Nam Con Son Gas
  Hanoi, Vietnam (17 March 2006): Deputy Minister Nguyen Xuan Thuy represented Ministry of Industry (MoI) at the signing ceremony of the Shared Strategic Plan between Petro Vietnam (PV), Electricity of Vietnam (EVN), and BP Exploration Operating Company Vietnam (BP).
3. (November 2005) - Signing of Government Guarantee and Transportation Agreements in support of Vietnam Offshore Block 11-2 Gas Project
  HANOI, VIETNAM – Demonstrating its support of the continued development of Vietnam’s offshore natural gas industry, on 7 October 2005 the Government of Vietnam, represented by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thuy, Deputy Minister of Industry, signed a Government Guarantees and Undertakings Agreement (GGU) with the foreign oil and gas companies involved in the Block 11-2 offshore natural gas development project. The GGU was also signed by representatives of the foreign investors, namely, the Korea National Oil Corporation (KNOC), BP Pipelines Vietnam B.V. (BP) and ConocoPhillips Vietnam A.S. (COP).
4. (August 2005) - Gas - A key fuel for Vietnam’s energy needs
  Vung Tau (17 August 2005) – Gas will continue to be an important fuel to meet Vietnam’s future energy needs and BP is playing a key role in providing a safe and reliable gas supply.
5. (July 2005) - 1st Half 2005: Gas production from Nam Con Son project increases 58%
  Hanoi (6th July 2005) – BP, the operator of the Nam Con Son gas project and its partners, Petrovietnam, ONGC Videsh and ConocoPhillips, have produced 2 billion cubic metres of gas during the first half of 2005, a 58 per cent increase over the same period last year.
6. (May 2005) - Nam Con Son gas project increases production output to help Vietnam address power shortage.
  Hanoi (23rd May 2005) - Nam Con Son gas project has increased its natural gas production capacity by 30% above its design capacity to help the Government of Vietnam mitigate the prevalent drought and high oil price conditions.
7. (April 2005) - BP Petco awarded prestigious 3rd Level Labour Medal
  Ho Chi Minh City (22nd April 2005) – Today in Ho Chi Minh City, BP Petco, a joint venture between BP and Petrolimex, was awarded the prestigious 3rd Level Labour Medal by the President of Vietnam for its efforts and contribution to Vietnam’s social and economic development over the past 13 years. This is the first time the 3rd Level Labour Medal has been granted to a lubricants joint venture company.
8. (March 2005) - Nam Con Son Gas Project Hits 4 Billion Cubic Metre Gas Sale
  Ha Noi (8 March 2005) – Nam Con Son gas project hit the 4 billion cubic metres of gas sales milestone last Friday since it came into operation in November 2002, BP Exploration Operating Company (BPEOC), the operator of the project said.
9. (February 2005) - 5 BP and Nam Con Son Pipeline staff receive Ministry of Health Care’s Certificate of Merits
  Vung Tau City (25 February 2005) – Ba Ria Vung Tau province authorities have presented Ministry of Health Care’s Certificates of Merit to five BP and Nam Con Son Pipeline staff for their contributions and efforts made to the public health care and protection.
10. (January 2005) - BP Vietnam Donates VND150 Million to Help Poor Families
  Hanoi (21st January 2005) – BP has presented VND150 million to the Vietnam Red Cross to support poor families during the upcoming Lunar New Year festival. The VND 150 million budget was previously planned for printing calendars, diaries and greeting cards to send to BP’s contacts in Vietnam.
